The art program "Boulevard" brings new musical nuances

(Dan Tri) - "Boulevard" is a program inspired by national traditions and the flow of folk art and culture on the path of integration.


On the evening of November 16, at Le Thai To Square (Hanoi), the Boulevard art performance program took place.

This is an art program organized by Hanoi College of Art, within the framework of the city's Creative Week. The program is directly directed by Dr. Vu Tien Dung, Principal of the school, and producer Van Nguyen is the General Director.

The program gathered many talented lecturers and artists such as Meritorious Artist Thuy Anh, singer Dinh Manh Ninh, Bao Tram Idol, singer Ngoc Khue, Sao Mai Le Viet Anh, Vietnam Idol runner-up Ha Minh,... with the participation of students from the art faculties of Hanoi College of Art.

The program opened with a powerful performance of the Drum Festival , combining tradition and modernity, music and light. In traditional Ao Dai, singer Tien Hung performed the song "Sacred and Glorious Hanoi" by musician Le May.

The audience enjoyed a special erhu solo in Spring by Meritorious Artist Thuy Anh, and listened to the works "Blue Sky of the Central Highlands" and "The Girl Sharpening Spikes" by musicians Hoang Van and Hoang Hiep, performed by a traditional orchestra.

Singer Le Viet Anh sings Oh My Homeland , Quynh Thi performs Mot Khuc Song Hong. Both compositions are by musician Le Minh Son.

Immediately after that, the atmosphere became lively again with Ha Minh Phong's "Roi" . Singer Bao Tram Idol also stirred up the atmosphere when performing 3 songs: Dong Mang, Giua Dai Lo Dong Tay and Chi con nhung mua nho.

Dinh Manh Ninh performed two songs he composed: Hoa sua mua thu and Nothing is forever. Singer Ngoc Khue gracefully performed Goi toi Ha Noi with liberal contemporary music.

In particular, on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, the singers expressed their gratitude to their teachers through the performance "When the teacher's hair turns white" by musician Tran Duc. The song moved the audience at the show.

Director Van Nguyen, General Director of the program, former Deputy Head of the Department of Theater - Cinema and Dance of Hanoi College of Arts, said that Dai Lo is a colorful artistic picture.

"The program is a combination of many art forms on a traditional foundation, along with creative exploration in the way of expression, bringing the audience to the intersection of space, time, and the quintessence of traditional and modern art," said director Van Nguyen.

According to director Van Nguyen, this is the first art program in which the entire crew and performing artists are lecturers, former lecturers, students, alumni and collaborators of Hanoi College of Art.
