(Fatherland) - On the afternoon of November 28, at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong chaired a working session to listen to a report on the Plan to implement the task of "Alive art performance program at Thang Long Imperial Citadel" under the task of "Promoting and advertising tourism through the organization of cultural and artistic programs to serve tourists".
The live performance art program at Thang Long Imperial Citadel is expected to take place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel in mid-December with the event "Vietnam - Legendary historical poem" about the heritage of Thang Long - Tu Tran. The event is built as a high-class tourism product, attracting domestic and international tourists, contributing to raising the position of Vietnam on the global heritage tourism map.
The event is expected to include a series of programs including: Activities - Pre-program experience area and the program "Vietnam - Legendary epic" about the heritage of Thang Long - Tu Tran.

In particular, with the activities and pre-program experience areas, it is expected to design and build the Thang Long - Imperial Citadel Cultural Area so that visitors will have the opportunity to explore the four sacred temples of Tu Tran: Bach Ma, Voi Phuc, Kim Lien and Quan Thanh. Each construction is associated with the legend and history of protecting Thang Long citadel, bringing a solemn spiritual space.
In addition, the organizers will arrange unique and impressive shooting angles to help visitors immerse themselves in the space recreating the Four Temples. In addition, models of Thang Long Citadel Gate, "conical hat forest", Hanoi Old Quarter, or spaces recreating traditional crafts such as hat making, calligraphy... bring a feeling of both nostalgia and novelty in the journey to explore Vietnamese history and culture.
Also according to the plan, before starting the main program, visitors to "Vietnam - Legendary historical songs" will have the opportunity to experience unique traditional cultural and artistic workshops. These workshops focus on introducing and instructing on Vietnam's long-standing handicrafts, from making conical hats, printing Dong Ho folk paintings, making Bat Trang pottery to calligraphy and sewing traditional ao dai... Visitors will be able to perform the manual stages themselves under the guidance of artisans, helping visitors gain a deeper understanding of the cultural and artistic values of each craft.
As for the program "Vietnam - Legendary epic" about the heritage of Thang Long - Tu Tran, scheduled to take place on the evening of December 15, it will include 6 carefully and detailed art performances: Opening "Life - Origin of Thang Long"; "Bach Ma Temple - Eastern Thang Long Citadel"; "Phuc Voi Temple - Western Thang Long Citadel"; "Kim Lien Temple - Southern Thang Long Citadel"; "Quan Thanh Temple - Northern Thang Long Citadel" and the Final "Prosperous Thang Long - Integration and Development". The program is also expected to continue in March, June, September and December 2025.
Overview of the working session
According to reports from units at the meeting, preparations are being urgently carried out by units. Work progress is guaranteed according to the prescribed time.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong requested the assigned agencies and units to proactively and actively implement the items according to the set schedule. At the same time, the units need to regularly propose and promptly report new contents and arising issues to the Ministry's leaders for appropriate solutions, in order to ensure the program is organized professionally and effectively.
In addition, the construction and organization of the Program must be safe. Units responsible for construction and installation of items must strictly comply with labor safety standards, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection regulations, and ensure the safety of the audience participating in the event.
The Deputy Minister also suggested that all activities related to communication and event promotion need to be carried out synchronously and effectively./.
