Extending the operating hours of Bach Dang Spring Flower Street as well as many festival, entertainment, and experience events spread across tourist areas and destinations from now until the end of the April 30 holiday will contribute to attracting and retaining tourists to Da Nang.

According to records, on the morning of February 7 (January 10), Bach Dang spring flower street was crowded with people and tourists coming to visit and take photos. Notably, many kindergartens in the area organized spring activities for students here. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, a teacher at Anh Duong Kindergarten (Hai Chau district) said that the school took the older students to visit the flower garden to introduce the animal of the year At Ty, introduce the flowers... "The city's extension of the flower street's operating time contributes to creating a beautiful appearance, with a place for people to come and have fun. We come here not only to leave memories but also to introduce the beautiful scenery of the city, helping the children understand and love their homeland more," said Ms. Huong.

While waiting to move to Ba Na tourist attraction, a group of French tourists took the opportunity to stroll around the flower garden. “This is my first time in Da Nang. My first impression is the beautiful scenery with the flower garden and Dragon Bridge. I hope to have an enjoyable vacation with my family in this city,” said Lyvanne. To serve tourists, destinations in the city have been carefully prepared. In particular, the spring flower festival at Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area continues to delight visitors with nearly 400,000 tulips of 45 colorful varieties spread throughout the tourist area. Not only tulips, the flower festival on Ba Na peak also lasts with the Sun Flower Festival in March-April, the Rose Festival in May, gathering hundreds of thousands of sunflowers and roses, covering a colorful flower paradise on Ba Na peak. In addition to famous areas and spots, many districts also attract people and tourists with festivals, check-in spaces for flower gardens, vegetable and fruit gardens, etc.

According to Vice Chairman of Hoa Vang District People's Committee Nguyen Thuc Dung, after Tet, festivals such as Tuy Loan communal house festival, Bo Ban communal house festival... will take place in the district with many attractive cultural and entertainment activities serving people and tourists; at the same time, vegetable gardens in Tuy Loan, green-skinned grapefruit growing areas in Hoa Ninh... attract tourists to experience. Similarly, Ms. Hua Thi Thuy Phuong, Chairman of Cam Le District Farmers' Association, said that the "Cam Le Xanh" check-in point located at the intersection of Tran Huan and Thang Long streets (Khue Trung ward, Cam Le district) deployed by the District Farmers' Association before Tet will continue to be taken care of to serve people and tourists.

“The garden has many types of fresh flowers with the main colors of yellow - green - red expressing the spring atmosphere. We will test some new flower varieties, combining to form an attractive and impressive urban agricultural destination combined with agricultural tourism. Currently, the garden is open free of charge to serve residents and tourists,” said Ms. Phuong.

According to the Department of Tourism, the total number of visitors to Da Nang during the Lunar New Year holiday reached more than 469,000, an increase of 16.7% compared to the 2024 holiday (an increase of 3.2% compared to the report before the holiday). Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 228,000, leading the country in the number of international visitors during the 2025 Lunar New Year; Da Nang is also the locality with tourism revenue of over 1,000 billion VND, leading in revenue per visitor, reaching 4,023 million VND/visitor (revenue of 1,887 billion VND/469,000 visitors).

The extension of the Bach Dang Spring Flower Street to May 1 is considered a major change for Da Nang compared to previous years. This not only helps residents and tourists have more time to enjoy the festival but also creates a highlight for the city during the early festival season, contributing to attracting tourists to Da Nang not only during Tet but also during the following important events.

It is expected that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), the city will organize a celebration combined with a military parade on the morning of March 29; fireworks at 3 locations including: Bach Dang Street Square (Hai Chau District), in front of the Lien Chieu District Administrative Center and the resettlement area of ​​the Western Belt Road (Hoa Vang District); boat parade on the Han River and flower cars... Along with that, cultural activities - festivals on both banks of the Han River in 2025 are diverse and rich with 79 activities (22 periodic activities, 57 annual activities), contributing to creating an attractive destination for Da Nang in the coming time.
