On the morning of November 13, representatives of the Government of Vietnam attended the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in 2024 and presented 100 gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances in Dong Xoai city. 
This is the 9th year that Binh Phuoc province has implemented the Action Month for Gender Equality, with the theme "Ensuring social security, empowering and creating opportunities for women and girls to achieve gender equality and eliminate gender-based violence". Thereby, attracting attention, promoting the role, responsibility and proactive participation of individuals, families, communities, agencies and organizations in ensuring social security, empowering women and girls, to promote gender equality and prevent and respond to violence and abuse against women and children in the province.
Accompanying the program, the Vietnamese Government wishes to contribute its voice to the issue of eliminating gender discrimination, creating equal opportunities for everyone to participate and enjoy the political, economic and social fields, to move towards gender equality in the most practical way.
