With 2 gold awards and 4 national quality awards, CP Vietnam once again affirmed its leading position in the animal feed industry, while demonstrating its ability to overcome difficulties and develop sustainably during the COVID-19 pandemic.
On December 18 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology solemnly held the National Quality Award Ceremony and the Asia-Pacific International Quality Award 2021-2023.
This is the only prestigious and national quality award decided by the Prime Minister to be presented annually.
Attending the award ceremony were Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Tuan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Mr. Le Xuan Dinh, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Chairman of the National Quality Award Council.
Representing CP Vietnam were Mr. Chamnan Wangakkarangkul - Deputy General Director; Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Senior Deputy General Director; Mr. Wirath Buayam - Deputy General Director and representatives of branches receiving the award.
Pioneer in technology and quality managementAt this event, CP Vietnam made a special mark when 6 factories were honored with 2 gold awards and 4 national quality awards.

Specifically, Ben Tre Aquatic Feed Factory won the gold prize in 2021, while Tien Giang Animal Feed Factory won the gold prize in 2022. Four national quality awards were given to factories in Dong Nai, Binh Dinh (2021), Xuan Mai Hanoi and Hai Duong (2022).
According to Mr. Prasan Atimanon - Deputy General Director in charge of aquatic feed production of CP Vietnam, the VNQA gold award is the result of the continuous efforts of all factory staff.
"CP Ben Tre Factory is one of the pioneers in the province in simultaneously applying 8 international management standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, Global GAP, BAP, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001," Mr. Prasan shared.

Ben Tre factory not only applies KPI tools and many modern management software, but also uses European technology production lines with automatic quality control systems and camera monitoring.
In particular, the factory focuses on environmental factors through the application of advanced Airbag Filter dust filtration technology, noise control, wastewater treatment and the use of alternative energy from natural fuels.
Notably, Tien Giang Factory - the 2022 gold prize winner - is the only factory in CP Group capable of transporting goods by both waterway and road. Officially put into operation since June 2021, with a designed capacity of 540,000 tons/year, the factory is equipped with a modern machinery system and a high level of automation.
Tien Giang Factory has built and applied many advanced management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and other productivity and quality tools.
In particular, this unit has integrated 7 criteria of the National Quality Award into its management process and production and business activities.
Other factories honored in this VNQA Award are also pioneers in applying advanced standards.
Some factories such as Dong Nai and Tien Giang have participated and won the award for many consecutive years, affirming the stability in management and production quality.
Overcoming difficulties during the pandemic, towards sustainable developmentThis achievement is even more remarkable when achieved during the 2021-2023 period - the time when the COVID-19 pandemic was raging.
Among the 133 enterprises honored this year, CP Vietnam's factories not only maintained stable operations but also ensured jobs for workers, contributing to the recovery of the economy.
