Petroleum Securities issues 500 bonds with face value of 100 million VND

Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) has just announced that Petroleum Securities Joint Stock Company (HNX: PSI) successfully issued 500 bonds with code PSIH2326002 with a face value of VND 100 million/bond.

Thereby, 50 billion VND was mobilized from the bond channel with an interest rate of 9.95%, the above bonds will mature on August 31, 2026. The organization registering and depositing the above bonds is the Petroleum Securities Joint Stock Company.

This move by PSI takes place in the context that in less than a month, the enterprise will have to finalize the PSIH2223002 bond lot worth 200 billion VND, which will mature on October 1, 2023.

According to the financial report for the second quarter of 2023, PSI has reduced the outstanding bond debt of Nova Real Estate Investment Group Corporation from VND 51.13 billion to VND 0 billion; reduced the outstanding bond debt of Kinh Bac Development Corporation - JSC (HoSE: KBC) from VND 46.95 billion to VND 0 billion.

On the contrary, by the end of the second quarter of 2023, this securities company only owned VND 49.9 billion in bonds of Hai Phat Investment JSC (HoSE: HPX) and owned VND 42.67 billion in bonds of Fecon JSC (HoSE: FCN).

Total short-term loans and financial leasing debt decreased by 22.5% compared to the beginning of the year, equivalent to a decrease of VND 187 billion, to VND 644.8 billion and accounting for 36.4% of total capital.

Regarding business results, in the second quarter of 2023, the enterprise recorded total revenue of VND 65.01 billion, down 33.8% over the same period and after-tax profit recorded a profit of VND 9.88 billion, significantly escaping losses compared to the same period last year.

Accumulated in the first 6 months of the year, PSI recorded total revenue of VND 148.55 billion, down 31.2% over the same period and after-tax profit recorded VND 20.24 billion, up 61.5% compared to the first half of 2022.

Previously, this stock recorded many consecutive sessions of increase, even "touching the ceiling", raising the price from the area below 10,000 VND/share to the current market price .
