On August 27, the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem District announced the results of the application for transfer to Tay Mo Primary School, Tay Mo 3 Primary School, Dai Mo 3 Primary School, and Ly Nam De Primary School.
The announcement said that after the separation, Tay Mo 3 Primary School had 30 classes with 1,111 students (21 students had transferred, leaving 1,090 students).
Therefore, the school cannot accept more students because the facilities do not meet the educational quality requirements.
Thus, more than 500 applications for admission to Tay Mo 3 Primary School sent by parents to the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem District on August 21 were not processed.
Previously, on August 23, the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem district announced the receipt of school transfer applications to resolve the wishes of 523 parents of students in Tay Mo ward who wanted to transfer their children to Tay Mo 3 Primary School.
However, this announcement only accepts applications for transfer to schools such as: Tay Mo Primary School, Dai Mo 3 Primary School, Ly Nam De Primary School; there is no information on receiving applications for transfer to Tay Mo 3 Primary School.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem district, after the announcement of the department on August 23, there were 385 applications for school transfer sent to the department (previously there were 523 applications).
The Department has established a working group to review transfer applications and agree with the schools' proposals.
Of which, Dai Mo 3 Primary School receives 75 students from Ly Nam De Primary School; 38 students from Dai Mo Primary School (if there are sufficient records of residence in Dai Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district); receives 139 students from other schools (if there are sufficient records of residence in Tay Mo ward or Dai Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district); receives 35 students from other schools (if there are sufficient records of residence in Dai Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district).
Tay Mo Primary School receives 17 students from Ly Nam De Primary School; re-admits 19 students from Tay Mo 3 Primary School and receives 62 students from other schools (if there are sufficient records of residence in Tay Mo ward, Nam Tu Liem district).
Ly Nam De Primary School allowed 92 students to withdraw their applications to transfer to Tay Mo Primary School and Dai Mo 3 Primary School; proposed the District People's Committee to strengthen facilities to create conditions to improve the quality of education.
The Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem District requires Dai Mo 3 Primary School and Tay Mo Primary School to publicly announce the list of students accepted for transfer and instruct parents to complete the transfer procedures according to regulations before 5:00 p.m. on August 30 to promptly stabilize the organization and prepare well for the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year.
On August 21, hundreds of parents gathered at Tay Mo 3 Primary School from early morning until nearly 10 p.m. waiting to question school leaders and leaders of the Department of Education and Training about the school's enrollment.
On the same day, more than 500 applications for transferring children to Tay Mo 3 Primary School were received by the school from parents and sent to the District Department of Education and Training.
