(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of February 21, the Steering Committee 35 of Hong Bang District on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views held a conference to deploy tasks for 2024. Comrade Do Viet Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee 35 of the District chaired the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department and members of the Steering Committee 35 of the District.

At the Conference, delegates listened to the Action Plan of the 35 District Steering Committees on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in 2024. With the aim of raising awareness and action throughout the political system to carry out the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views; ensuring the direction, operation, coordination and implementation of tasks of the 35 District Steering Committees are unified, synchronous, timely and effective; protect and disseminate the results of the implementation of Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation", Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution of the 16th National Party Congress of the City, Resolution of the 23rd National Party Congress of the District and Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

Be proactive in all situations, promptly detect, provide, reflect the situation and advise on solutions to arising issues. Promote the responsibility and strengths of each member of the Steering Committee, contributing to stabilizing political ideology, developing the economy, culture, society, maintaining national defense, security, order and social safety in the city. Promote the combined strength of the member branches of the Steering Committee of 35 districts, the core of which is the Propaganda, Army, Police, Culture - Information forces; clearly define the direction and leadership of propaganda work in "greening" positive information on the Internet and social networks. At the Conference, delegates discussed the following contents: Strengthening technical and technological solutions, proactively grasping the situation, detecting activities of spreading bad, toxic information, and wrong views on social networks, and handling subjects violating the Law on Cyber Security.
