Thach Khe iron mine (Thach Ha district) has a reserve of about 544 million tons, located in 5 coastal communes of Thach Ha district including: Thach Khe, Dinh Ban, Thach Hai, Thach Tri and Thach Lac. The total land area used by the project is 4,821 hectares. This area is located 8 km east of Ha Tinh city, 1.6 km from the East coast. The Thach Khe iron mine project was exploited in 2008. From 2011 to now, the project has been forced to suspend due to many consequences arising from the environment, society and feasibility. |
Earlier, this morning (September 30), Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien came to lay wreaths and offer incense at the Dong Loc T-junction relic site and the Great Poet Nguyen Du relic site. Attending the incense offering ceremony were Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thanh Binh, Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau.
