President Vo Van Thuong receives Lao Deputy Prime Minister

Welcoming the Deputy Prime Minister and the high-ranking delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party to visit Vietnam and attend the 10th Theoretical Workshop between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party organized by the Central Theoretical Council, President Vo Van Thuong said that the visit and work is very meaningful for the two Parties and two countries.

The President believes that the Workshop with the theme: Developing culture and people in the process of national development towards socialism - Experience of Vietnam, experience of Laos... will be a great success, contributing to deepening the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries.

Lao Deputy Prime Minister Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune thanked President Vo Van Thuong for taking the time to receive the delegation and for his good feelings towards Laos and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, thereby demonstrating the concern of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the President personally for the cooperation between the two Parties, which is a great source of encouragement for the Lao People's Revolutionary Party delegation to complete its tasks at this important and meaningful theoretical seminar.

Lao Deputy Prime Minister Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune said that on the occasion of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party's high-ranking delegation visiting Vietnam to attend the Theory Workshop between the two Parties, Lao People's Revolutionary Party General Secretary Thongloun Sisoulith sent his regards to the leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State.

President Vo Van Thuong thanked Lao Deputy Prime Minister Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune for his good feelings towards Vietnam. Stating that in Vietnam's development over the years, there has always been the concern, sharing and encouragement of Laos, President Vo Van Thuong affirmed: In recent times, Laos has overcome many difficulties and achieved important achievements. In particular, the cooperation between the Theoretical Councils of the two sides has become increasingly effective, especially in organizing seminars and sharing experiences in drafting Party documents, which is a profound milestone demonstrating the special relationship between the two Parties and the two countries.

During the leadership and direction process, the two Parties shared their experiences and successes. Members of the Central Theoretical Council will share as much of Vietnam's experience as possible, including both successful and unsuccessful work, so that the Lao People's Revolutionary Party can study, refer to, and perfect the Platform for national construction, etc.

Through Lao Deputy Prime Minister Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, President Vo Van Thuong sent his regards and New Year greetings to the leaders of the Lao Party and State.
