EVN Hanoi Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan was appointed as EVN General Director.

On November 30, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) Dang Hoang An signed a decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Members of Hanoi Electricity Corporation, to hold the position of General Director of EVN from December 1, 2023.

The term of office is 5 years.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan will be General Director of EVN from December 1, 2023.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan was born on May 1, 1967, hometown Thanh Oai district, Hanoi.

Mr. Tuan has a professional qualification as an Electrical Engineer with a Master's degree in Business Administration. At the same time, Mr. Tuan also has a Bachelor's degree in Politics.

From August 1990 to February 1996, he worked as a specialist in the Planning Department, Basic Construction Department - Hanoi Electricity Company (now Hanoi Electricity Corporation).

From February 1996 to August 2000, he worked as Deputy Head of Basic Construction Department; Head of Bidding Team, Head of Project Management Department - Hanoi Electricity Company.

From August 2000 to March 2003, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan worked as Deputy Head of Project Management Board of Hanoi Electricity Company;

From March 2003 to July 2008, he worked as Head of Planning Department of Hanoi Electricity Company;

From July 2008 to March 2010, Mr. Tuan worked as Deputy Director of Hanoi Electricity Company;

From April 2010 to October 2013, he was Deputy General Director of Hanoi Electricity Corporation;

From November 2013 to September 2019, he was Party Secretary, Chairman and General Director of Hanoi Electricity Corporation;

From November 2015 to present, he has been a member of the Hanoi Party Committee;

From October 2019 to present, he has been Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members of Hanoi Electricity Corporation.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan is also a delegate of the Hanoi People's Council, term XV (2016 - 2021).
