As a member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, Mr. Hoa assessed that the first responsibility for many serious fires lies with the investor. However, the responsibility of local authorities and fire prevention and fighting units is also very large. Especially in the work of inspecting and evaluating fire prevention and fighting and issuing warnings so that people can grasp the situation and prevent fires and explosions.

“Through inspection and evaluation of constructions, if fire safety is not ensured, the license will be revoked and the operation will not be allowed. With such determination, all motels, hotels, and mini apartments in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and across the country will not dare to neglect this work,” said Mr. Hoa.

Citing the fact that many fires have occurred, when checking the buildings and constructions, they found no emergency exits, no fire escapes, weak fire protection systems, and unsafe electrical systems, Mr. Hoa pointed out, "This is an issue that needs to be reviewed and researched to overcome."

Meanwhile, Mr. Trinh Xuan An, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security, said that in the upcoming process of amending the Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue, it is necessary to design a section in the Chapter on Fire Prevention and Fighting in Housing, not just a simple matter. In that section, it is possible to design related contents such as planning, urban infrastructure, and local authority in the management process.
