Many of them have implemented projects and put them into effective operation. The automobile manufacturing and assembly plant alone, which is expected to be put into operation at the end of December, will produce and assemble about 6,000 cars. It is expected that next year, this enterprise will operate stably and contribute to the budget from 800 to 1,000 billion VND each year.

In addition, Phong Dien Industrial Park is currently contributing about 150 billion VND to the provincial budget. In the period of 2023-2024, there will be a number of projects implemented and put into operation with specific products. In particular, some other industrial parks currently have about 10 enterprises registered and implementing projects. It is expected that from now until 2024, there will be 3 enterprises in operation. On average, each year, an additional contribution of about 10 billion VND to the budget/enterprise.

When talking about the role of heads of departments and localities in completing procedures for land allocation to investors, or site clearance, the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien-Hue province said that in the process of completing procedures for land allocation for projects implemented in the area, Department Directors should enhance their responsibility to completely resolve procedures for investors by specifically proposing what the work is like, what the responsibilities are...

For localities (districts, towns, cities - PV), during the process of implementing procedures, it is also necessary to grasp the provision of full information about the land for the project. Accordingly, there are projects that have almost completed the procedures but then are related to forest land, and have to go back to complete the procedures to submit to the Ministries, causing delays in the project implementation process.

“Localities should not only consider it a provincial project but also a local project, thereby having good coordination. In fact, if the project is done well, it will develop the overall economy of the locality,” said the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Thua Thien-Hue province.

At the same time, delegate Nguyen Dai Vui also emphasized that leaders and officials must put themselves in the position of the people and businesses, thereby handling the situation flexibly and harmoniously on the basis of respect for the law.

“Very frank opinions”, was the comment of the session chairman - Mr. Le Truong Luu, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thua Thien-Hue province when evaluating the opinions and recommendations of the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of the province.
