Four methods of admission to Hanoi University of Architecture in 2024

Hanoi University of Architecture directly admits candidates with IELTS 6.0 or higher combined with aptitude test scores into the advanced program in Architecture, an increase of 0.5 compared to last year.

According to the announcement on the afternoon of February 19, Hanoi Architectural University (HAU) said that this year it plans to enroll 2,480 students, with four methods.

With the method of considering transcripts, the School uses the scores of 5 high school semesters (except semester II, grade 12) of the subjects in the combination, applied to the majors of Construction Project Management, Urban Underground Construction, Civil and Industrial Construction, Construction Materials Engineering Technology.

Candidates graduating this year and previous years can apply for admission using this method.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, Hanoi University of Architecture also accepts reserved results from 2023 and 2022.

Admission combining graduation exam scores with aptitude is a third method , applied to majors and majors with specific combinations such as V00 (Math, Physics, Fine Arts), V01 (Math, Literature, Fine Arts), V02 (Math, English, Fine Arts), H00 Literature, Fine Arts, Colored Layout), H02 (Math, Fine Arts, Colored Layout).

This method only applies to candidates taking the graduation exam this year to get the combined admission results of the aptitude test.

The fourth method is direct admission and priority admission , the school implements according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, with its own project.

Hanoi University of Architecture directly admits candidates with IELTS 6.0 or higher or equivalent, combined with aptitude test scores for the Advanced Architecture Program. Last year, the requirement was only IELTS 5.5. The school also gives priority to candidates who have won provincial-level excellent student awards.

In addition, the two international joint programs will review applications and conduct direct interviews according to the regulations of the partner school.

Last year, with the group taking a benchmark score of 30, the Information Technology major had the highest entrance score at Hanoi University of Architecture with 24.75 points. Next was Graphic Design with a benchmark score of 24, Construction Management with 23.93 points. Construction Engineering had the lowest entrance score with 20.01 points.

On the 40-point scale, the school doubled the aptitude subjects (Fine Art Drawing, Fine Art Illustration), the highest standard score was in Architecture with 28.8 points, Regional and Urban Planning - 28 points, the rest were commonly at 23-24 points.
