On September 13, 2023, immediately upon receiving information from the Hanoi Department of Health (via hotline) about the fire in a 9-storey mini apartment building in Khuong Ha, Thanh Xuan district, the leaders of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management immediately arrived at the scene with the Department of Health to mobilize emergency response forces, ambulances from Central Hospitals and Ministry/Sector hospitals to participate in the rescue of the victims.
The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management welcomes hospitals that are ready to promptly deploy disaster emergency response work as soon as mobilized.

The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment also requested that hospitals continue to monitor victims who have been admitted for emergency care.
Concentrate all resources to mobilize good doctors, ensure adequate medicine, emergency equipment, treatment and rescue of victims, and provide adequate nutrition to ensure timely and most effective treatment.
Focus on treatment in the immediate future, do not collect any fees yet; promote the role of the Social Work Department to care for the health, stabilize the psychology of the victims so they can feel secure in treatment, welcome and explain to help their families overcome the crisis;
Appoint a focal point to provide official information and create conditions for press and media agencies to work and for victims' families to search for their loved ones.
Hospitals are requested to compile reports updating the progress of the rescue of victims and suggestions and recommendations to the Ministry of Health to ensure emergency work and disaster prevention.
