Also participating in the inspection were investors of hydroelectric reservoirs upstream of Vu Gia - Thu Bon.

Recently, the water source on Cam Le River has been continuously contaminated with salt. Da Nang City has operated the An Trach saltwater prevention pumping station to pump water to Cau Do water plant, providing water for Da Nang city residents.

In addition, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment directed the units operating hydroelectric reservoirs to discharge water reasonably so that the water source to Vu Gia River is maintained stably and to build a temporary dam on Quang Hue River in Quang Nam province.
