Minister of Transport inspects Dien Bien Airport

Minister Nguyen Van Thang and the working delegation inspected the field of the Dien Bien Airport Construction and Expansion Investment Project.

On the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrades: Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Duc Toan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches, Dien Bien Phu city... participating.

After 7 months of construction, Dien Bien Airport has basically completed important items. On the morning of December 2, Dien Bien Airport resumed commercial flights with 2 routes: Hanoi - Dien Bien - Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City - Dien Bien - Ho Chi Minh City. The project still has some items under construction and completion. Minister Nguyen Van Thang requested and directed the investor to urge contractors to increase resources, vehicles, and machinery to speed up the progress, complete the project soon and ensure the best quality for the project.

Minister Nguyen Van Thang gave gifts to encourage and congratulate the staff of Dien Bien Airport.

On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Van Thang presented gifts of encouragement and congratulated the staff of Dien Bien Airport after more than 8 months of temporary closure to serve the construction of the Project, now operating again with a beautiful, modern appearance, better serving the needs of passengers.

After the field inspection, the delegation of the Ministry of Transport offered incense at the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, A1 Martyrs' Cemetery and Hoang Cong Chat Temple. Offering incense and laying wreaths at the sacred destinations, the delegates expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs, the outstanding sons of the nation who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and bones for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
