On August 22, in Da Nang, the Ministry of Information and Communications held a meeting with representatives of retired cadres in the Central Highlands region to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the information and communications sector; the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam said that with the desire to do more to show gratitude to previous generations, while preserving and developing the historical traditions of the industry, the ministry's leadership decided to implement the restoration of historical relics of the industry across the country.
Regarding the proposal to recognize the Quang Nam - Da Nang Postal Service Martyrs Memorial as a city-level historical relic, the city has agreed with the proposal of the Department of Culture and Sports on the ranking of a city-level relic; assigning the Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Information and Communications, Da Nang Post Office, Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee and Khue My Ward People's Committee to coordinate in implementing and completing the dossier to advise the city.

For the Traditional House of the industry located at 50B Nguyen Du, Da Nang, VNPOST has oriented to link with the project of building a digital museum of the postal industry. During the construction process, all the relics at the Traditional House will be digitized and information systems will be installed so that viewers can experience more fully the traditional history of the postal industry.
On the same morning, the delegation of the Ministry of Information and Communications offered incense and reported on their achievements at the Memorial of martyrs of the Quang Nam - Da Nang postal sector (Ngu Hanh Son district) to express gratitude for the contributions of previous generations who sacrificed their lives to contribute to building and protecting the homeland and country and promoting the national spirit of "remembering the source of water when drinking".
