Additional 19.6 billion VND for Nguyen Hoang Street and Huong River Overpass Project

On September 25, the People's Council of Thua Thien Hue province held the 19th Special Session to review, discuss and approve 23 important resolutions related to many sectors and fields.

In particular, the resolution supplements the state budget capital investment plan in 2024 with capital sources to increase revenue and save regular expenditures of the central budget in 2023 for the Nguyen Hoang road project and the Huong river overpass, Hue city.

The Perfume River overpass, part of the Nguyen Hoang Street project, Hue City, is under construction.

Regarding this content, at the meeting, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province submitted a report to the Provincial People's Council for consideration of assigning additional public investment plans in 2024 from increased revenue sources, saving regular expenditures of the central budget in 2023 of 19.6 billion VND for the Nguyen Hoang road project and Huong river overpass to speed up the project's progress.

The inspection report of the Economic - Budget Committee of the People's Council of Thua Thien Hue province at the meeting also showed that, based on the opinion of the Provincial People's Council on supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 for the Nguyen Hoang road and Huong river overpass project, the Provincial People's Committee submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and comments on supplementing the 2024 public investment capital plan with an amount of 19.6 billion VND from the central budget to implement the project is in line with reality.

This is a key project of the province, the construction progress ensures the set plan and currently the province is focusing resources to speed up the construction progress to complete the project soon.

The Nguyen Hoang Street and Huong River Overpass Project in Hue City was invested on September 9, 2022 with a total investment of more than VND 2,281 billion from the central and local budgets.

The project started on December 23, 2022, with the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.

The joint venture of contractors Trung Chinh Construction and Trading Company Limited - Thua Thien Hue Construction and Management Joint Stock Company - Viet Anh Import-Export Trade Construction Investment Joint Stock Company - Thua Thien Hue Road I Joint Stock Company will carry out the construction within 3 years.
