The latest news from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that the tropical depression in the sea east of the Philippines has strengthened into a storm (international name is TRAMI).

It is expected that by the afternoon of October 24, storm TRAMI will enter the East Sea at level 10, gusting to level 12; by 1:00 p.m. on October 25, the storm will strengthen to level 11, gusting to level 14. The dangerous area is from latitude 15.0-20.0 degrees North, east of longitude 115.0 degrees East.

To proactively respond to the storm's developments, in the late afternoon of October 22, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued a telegram requesting ministries, branches, and Chairmen of People's Committees of coastal provinces and cities from Quang Ninh to Binh Thuan to focus on response work.

The key tasks in the coming hours are to closely monitor the storm's developments; strictly manage vessels going out to sea; organize counting and notify owners of vessels and captains of ships and boats operating at sea of ​​the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm so that they can proactively avoid, escape or not move into dangerous areas.

The dangerous area in the next 72 hours is determined by the hydrometeorological agency to be from latitude 15.0 - 20.0 degrees North, east of longitude 115.0 degrees East (the dangerous area will continue to be adjusted in forecast bulletins).

In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development also requested ministries, sectors and coastal localities to prepare forces and means for rescue when requested. Media agencies from central to local levels should strengthen measures to inform authorities at all levels, owners of means of transport operating at sea and people about the storm's developments so that they can proactively prevent and respond.
