On the morning of March 17, at the headquarters of the Binh Dinh Literature and Arts Association, the Binh Dinh Photography Association and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (NSNA) of Binh Dinh province held a meeting to celebrate the 71st anniversary of Vietnam Photography Traditional Day (March 15, 1953 - March 15, 2024). Attending the meeting were representatives of the leadership of the Binh Dinh Literature and Arts Association and all members of the two associations.
At the meeting, the artists reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese Photography; discussed professional expertise in the art of photography, focusing on the following contents: the role of photography in the flow of history, the proximity between art photography and press photography, necessary experiences in landscape photography with Flycam, approaches to contemporary photography through the perspective of referencing the works of photographers around the world...
On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Photographers in Binh Dinh province announced the decision of the Vietnam Association of Photographers to admit members and confer the title of Photographer on two members Nguyen Tien Trinh and Tran Hung Dao; awarded the 2023 Outstanding Photography Award of the Vietnam Association of Photographers to Photographer Nguyen Phuoc Hoai; awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Vietnam Association of Photographers to the Vietnam Association of Photographers in Binh Dinh province and 04 Photographers: Dao Tien Dat, Nguyen Xuan Tuyen, Tran Bao Hoa and Nguyen Phuoc Hoai.
In recent years, Binh Dinh Photography has grown strongly in terms of the number of members and professional quality. Binh Dinh photographers have won many awards at provincial, regional, national and international art photography competitions. In 2023, Binh Dinh Literature and Arts Association organized more than 10 photo exhibitions to serve the aesthetic needs of the public, actively promoting the cultural beauty, homeland and people of Binh Dinh to domestic and international friends.
