The Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just agreed in principle to invest in the construction of the Road Project connecting National Highway 1 to the coastal road (DT.639), connecting to De Gi Port.

Accordingly, the project has its starting point at the intersection of National Highway 1 (at Km 1188+070) and the main road planned for the center of Cat Hanh commune; the end point is at the intersection of DT.633 with the DT.633 bypass, from Nui Ghenh to the coastal road (DT.639).

The total length of the route is about 17.3 km, passing through the communes of Cat Hanh, Cat Tai, Cat Minh, Cat Khanh, Phu Cat district; meeting the standards of a grade III plain road with a design speed of 80 km/h.

Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee informed that the Project of the Road connecting National Highway 1 to the coastal road (DT.639), connecting to De Gi Port has a total investment of 1,432 billion VND from the state budget managed by the province and other legal capital sources. The implementation period is in the period of 2024 - 2028.

The total land area occupied by the project is about 36 hectares. In addition, the number of households to be cleared is about 66 households and it is planned to build 2 resettlement areas in Cat Hanh and Cat Minh communes (compensation, support and resettlement costs are about 507 billion VND).

Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board to take the lead in implementing the investment dossier and procedures, submitting them to competent authorities for appraisal and approval to implement the project.

Along with the policy of implementing the above project, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang recently also signed a decision approving the investment project to build the Project to Expand the intersection of Cat Tien - Diem Van Coastal Road and the Economic Zone Axis Road with an intersection area of ​​6.93 hectares.

The project is implemented to gradually complete the planning orientation for expanding Quy Nhon City to the North, the construction planning of Phu Cat district until 2040, vision to 2050, the general planning for Cat Tien urban construction until 2035, detailed construction planning of Cat Tien Gateway Urban Area, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone...

In addition, the project also contributes to investing in synchronous technical infrastructure connection; improving investment and exploitation efficiency of coastal routes and economic zone axis roads; facilitating investment attraction, serving the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province in the future.

The project will construct an at-grade intersection with a cross-section of 3 lanes around the island (2 motor vehicle lanes and 1 mixed vehicle lane), each lane is 5m wide; the diameter of the circular island is 70m wide; the design of the main branches and 2 collector roads (adjacent to 2 Residential and Commercial Service Projects 03 and 04) will be completed...

The project will be implemented in the period of 2024 - 2027. The total investment of the project is more than 148.9 billion VND (construction cost is more than 89.8 billion VND) from the state budget managed by the province.
