The 2023 "Good Car, Good Driver" Contest of the Engineering Corps is a combination and synthesis of 3 contests: Good technical staff and officers; Technical contest of units and the 2023 "Good Car, Good Driver" Contest.

Colonel Ha Huy Khanh, Deputy Commander of the Engineering Corps attended and spoke.

From June 5 to 20, 10 participating units including 6 brigades, 2 schools, Battalion 93/General Staff and Battalion 74/Logistics Department completed 7 competition contents (good vehicle competition, good driving competition, regular technical area competition, technical day activity competition, technical training competition, technical innovation initiative competition, technical work awareness competition and content of inspection and classification of quality of infantry guns).

According to the evaluation of the organizing committee, the units have actively carried out the preservation, maintenance, repair of motorbikes, supplementary driving training and review of theoretical and practical contents. The contest was organized seriously, in accordance with the regulations, achieved the content, purpose, requirements and was a great success.

Colonel Ha Huy Khanh awarded certificates of merit to the groups and individuals who won high prizes in the competition.

The quality of maintenance, repair, and synchronization of vehicles through static inspection, on-site engine start-up, and dynamic inspection on the road is relatively good. The units have actively consolidated all items and technical infrastructure systems to meet the requirements of the task....

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Ha Huy Khanh, Deputy Commander of the Engineering Corps, requested agencies and units to promote the results achieved through the competition, continue to promote the responsibility of Party committees and commanders at all levels, and direct the improvement of the quality of technical assurance work at the unit. Research and include some practical test contents of the competition (good driving, technical day, quality classification of infantry guns...) into the annual training program at the unit. Continue to improve the quality of vehicles and professional qualifications of the driving team. The Technical Department, relevant agencies and units and Brigade 249 actively and well prepared to participate in the military-level competition with high results.

At the end of the contest, the Chief of the Engineering Corps awarded 24 collectives and 28 individuals who won high prizes in the contest.
