Get back to a healthy diet

After the Tet holiday with meals high in protein, processed foods, lots of grease, candy... people can detoxify their bodies by eating lots of green vegetables and fruits, drinking some types of water like salted lemon, fruit detox water... If your body still feels tired, you can add Omega-3, vitamins and minerals to your daily menu.

Exercise

During Tet, you often add a lot of energy through food and drinks. This makes your body easily become tired or gain weight. Therefore, you should spend 30 minutes/day and about 5 days/week to exercise, jog or do yoga.

Drink enough water

Water is very important for the body's activities. Make sure to drink enough 2-2.5 liters of water every day.

Make a specific work plan

Long holidays can affect your health and work performance. To avoid falling into a "empty" state after Tet, you need to maintain your health, alertness, and productivity to control your plans. Make a few bullet points for the tasks that need to be prioritized for the day. That way, the next day you will be very confident to start doing your work.

Managing stress after Tet

Excessive stress increases cortisol levels, which erodes nerve cell activity in the hippocampus, a part of the brain that stores memories and shapes cognition.

Body cleansing

After Tet holidays of eating lots of banh chung, fatty meat, gio cha, pork jelly and starchy foods, body cleansing is very necessary.

Limit caffeine and alcohol

While caffeine may provide a temporary boost of alertness and excitement, too much can drain your energy and make it difficult to fall asleep. Limit your caffeine intake, especially in the afternoon and evening, to avoid disrupting your sleep. Similarly, alcohol may have an initial sedative effect, but it disrupts your sleep cycle, leading to poorer sleep quality and fatigue later on.
