K Hospital organizes the Year-end Dinner Program - Happy Tet.

Nearly 2,000 patients happily joined in the warm, family atmosphere of Tet when they gathered together with their fellow patients, the medical staff who cared for them every day, and enjoyed the flavors of traditional Tet such as banh chung, nem, gio...

In many families, the wife takes care of the husband, the mother takes care of the children, the older brother takes care of the younger brother. They live very close to and take care of their loved ones, but the simple moments of sitting down to eat together are rare. Many tears have been shed, words of thanks have been said, handshakes and tight hugs are what the sick want to give to their loved ones.

Patient Nguyen Thi V., who is receiving chemotherapy at Internal Medicine Department 5, said: “This treatment falls right on the occasion of Lunar New Year, so I cannot go home to celebrate Tet with my family. At first, I felt a little sad and homesick when I saw many people returning home. But now I am not sad because there are doctors and friends who are treating me here. We never thought that we would have such a full New Year's Eve meal while in the hospital. It was really surprising and touching. I am very grateful for the care of the hospital and the benefactors who brought such warm and loving Tet holidays.”

The hospital's leadership sent congratulations and gave lucky red envelopes, wishing health and peace to the patients and went to each table to congratulate and encourage each person.

For patients who are not healthy enough to attend the program, hospital representatives visited each bed to visit, encourage and give gifts and 600 meals that are both nutritious and full of sharing with the patients. In particular, the hospital will prepare all meals for patients staying for treatment so that they can feel more secure and warm-hearted even though they have to be away from home during the New Year.

After the New Year's Eve dinner, patients and their families were able to return home to celebrate Tet on the journey of the Free Love Buses with much joy and happiness. Instead of having to go to the crowded bus station on the eve of Tet, right at the "K Hospital Love Bus Station", all patients and their families were taken on free buses to return home to celebrate Tet with their families.
