" We must find out the truth in the case with Martin Dzilah by all means, not for money but for the reputation of HAGL ," Mr. Duc said on the afternoon of November 1.

On October 31, Gia Lai Provincial Police continued to work with relevant parties in the lawsuit between Martin Dzilah and HAGL. The authorities met with Martin Dzilah, the Vietnamese broker, HAGL leaders, and many related personnel. However, the police have not yet reached a final conclusion on the investigation and have not yet returned HAGL's file and complaint.

Bau Duc continued: " The termination of the contract with Dzilah is legal, with full documents and witnesses. We never take money from players. 20,000 USD is only one month's salary for them. This is not my way of life, FIFA does not understand the problem and making a decision is their business ."

HAGL parted ways with Martin Dzilah in March 2024.

HAGL parted ways with Martin Dzilah in March 2024.

According to the businessman from Binh Dinh, he has never encountered a case like Martin Dzilah and HAGL has never displeased any star player playing for the team. Therefore, he is determined to find out the truth.

Previously, FIFA imposed an indefinite transfer ban on HAGL until HAGL paid Martin Dzilah $29,000. This fine was imposed by FIFA after receiving a complaint from the Ghanaian foreign player. He played for HAGL in V.League 2023 but only played 3 rounds, did not meet professional requirements, was injured and had his contract terminated.

Initially, the two sides agreed on a compensation of $20,000. However, the case took an unexpected turn when Dzilah claimed that he had not received any money from his former team. He said that he had signed a receipt but had not received the money. That was the reason why this foreign player sued his former team.

Regarding the above incident, HAGL Football Club said: " At 3:00 p.m. on March 21, 2024, at the office of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club at 15 Truong Chinh, Pleiku, Gia Lai province, player Martin Dzilah and HAGL signed a record of termination of the Labor Contract. HAGL Club paid player Martin Dzilah 20,000 USD as agreed. Player Martin Dzilah signed a confirmation that he had received the full amount.

On August 30, 2024, HAGL Club received a decision from FIFA requiring it to pay player Martin Dzilah 29,000 USD based on player Martin Dzilah's complaint .
