In the summary report at the Conference, comrade Nguyen Van Dung, member of the Party Executive Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Central Representative Office, said that in 2023, implementing the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Party Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper successfully carried out the political tasks assigned by the Party Committee of the Ministry, being a united collective, absolutely trusting in the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; cadres, party members and the masses are always conscious of complying with the regulations and rules of the agency, always striving to fulfill assigned tasks well.
Recognizing the advantages, comrade Nguyen Van Dung shared that in leading the implementation of political tasks, the Party Committee and the Editorial Board have directed mass organizations, affiliated Party cells, departments/equivalents and all cadres, Party members, civil servants and employees to carry out the propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in general, and propaganda on the fields of operation and management of the Natural Resources and Environment sector in particular, reflecting other activities related to the Natural Resources and Environment sector on the Newspaper's publications, ensuring timely publication, reflecting news and events quickly and promptly, achieving quality content and form and ensuring the correct principles and purposes.
In the past year, the Party Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper promptly developed and issued working regulations, innovated the direction and management work, unified and issued policies and resolutions on personnel organization, anti-corruption work and thrift practice against waste..., thoroughly grasped and deployed to the subordinate Party cells, Party members and the masses to strictly implement the Directives and Resolutions of the Central Committee, the Party Committee of the MONRE, the Resolution of the Party Committee of the Newspaper for the 2020-2025 term. Therefore, the Party building work was promoted, the subordinate Party cells and Party members were exemplary in implementing the directives, resolutions, conclusions... of the Party, the State's policies and laws, actively mobilized the masses to well implement patriotic emulation movements, build a clean and strong Party organization, Party cells, cultural agencies, cultural journalists; promoted self-criticism and criticism, fought against manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party; complete assigned political tasks well.
Along with that, the work of organizing cadres, inspecting, supervising, mobilizing people and leading mass organizations of the Party Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper has been maintained stably; the awareness and sense of responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants, workers, union members and youth have been gradually improved. The relationship and coordination of work between the Party Committee and the agency's leadership is a parallel, unified, united relationship and implemented in accordance with the principle of comprehensive leadership of the Party and the government performing tasks according to regulations.
Comrade Nguyen Van Dung said that in 2024, the Party Committee of TN&MT Newspaper will focus on strengthening leadership and direction in building the Party organization associated with building a clean and strong agency; implementing Party building work according to directives, resolutions, regulations, conclusions... of the Central Committee and the superior Party Committee, and at the same time concretizing directives, resolutions, conclusions, programs, plans... according to the agency's professional fields of operation.
Along with that, the Party Committee of the Newspaper continues to lead and direct the promotion of propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, activities in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the direction and administration of the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; promptly reflect issues and events in localities related to the activities of the natural resources and environment sector; especially propagate and commend good people and good deeds in all areas of social life through high-quality news, articles, photos, video clips, etc. posted on the Newspaper's publications and the Ministry's electronic information portal to ensure speed, timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with the principles and purposes.
At the same time, continue to perform well the tasks and orders assigned by the Ministries and branches; organize and coordinate the organization of forums, programs, and communication events related to the natural resources and environment sector, in order to enhance the prestige of the agency, bring about high communication effects and achieve economic efficiency.
In the work of Party building, the Party Committee of the Newspaper sets out the task of continuing to comprehensively lead and direct the activities of the Party Committee and its subordinate Party cells; promoting solidarity and democracy in all activities; directing Party cells to constantly innovate in the way of organizing Party activities; strictly managing Party members in performing their Party member duties; leading and directing the organization to thoroughly grasp and implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and comply with the Central Committee's directives, resolutions, regulations, rules and conclusions in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress in conjunction with the implementation of the Resolution of the 4th Central Conference of the 12th and 13th terms on Party building and rectification and Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW, dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on studying and following the example, ideology, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Party - Mass Organizations of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Quang Huy praised and highly appreciated the results that the Party Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper had achieved in 2023. In particular, he acknowledged the efforts of the Party Committees of the affiliated Party organizations, of the cadres and Party members who have promoted the pioneering and exemplary spirit to join hands with the Editorial Board of the TN&MT Newspaper to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.
Regarding the tasks in 2024, comrade Nguyen Quang Huy suggested that the Party Committee of TN&MT Newspaper should continue to improve the quality of Party activities, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, and strengthen inspection and supervision of Party cells to each Party member. Along with that, in the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp the regulations of the Central Committee and the Politburo on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and Party members to enhance their roles and responsibilities in performing their work. Promote institutional review and administrative reform; continue to research to have creative solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings in performing tasks. Comrade Nguyen Quang Huy also suggested that in 2024, the Party Committee of the Newspaper needs to innovate the Party's leadership method, ensuring both enhancing the Party's leadership role and promoting the initiative, creativity and sense of responsibility of mass organizations within the Party Committee. At the same time, well implement the work of protecting internal politics by grasping the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members and workers to promptly orient and resolve problems and difficulties in implementing assigned political tasks, continue to pay attention to protecting and caring for the material and spiritual life of union members; continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, creativity in work, study and successfully complete assigned tasks.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Chien, Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Permanent Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, highly appreciated the Party Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper for preparing a detailed report, comprehensively covering the Party building work in 2023. The report also frankly acknowledged the limitations and shortcomings with specific causes, demonstrating fighting spirit and deep self-criticism.
According to comrade Nguyen Ngoc Chien, the Party Committee of the Newspaper needs to emphasize the direction of thoroughly understanding the Party's viewpoint on journalism, especially for the team of leaders of Party committees, Party cells, reporters, editors, and cadres who are Party members. Through supervision and inspection, it is necessary to look directly at the problems that are not good in order to adjust and improve the responsibility of Party cells, Party cell secretaries and each Party member, ensuring the proper implementation of the functions and tasks of Party organizations in press agencies.
Along with that, the Party Committee of the Newspaper needs to do a good job of political and ideological education for the staff and Party members, contributing to creating unity within the Party and consensus within the entire Party Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper.
Based on the opinions of the delegates, Comrade Hoang Manh Ha - Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief of TN&MT Newspaper affirmed that in 2024, the Party Cells under the TN&MT Newspaper Party Committee will seriously and thoroughly grasp the directive documents of the superior Party Committee, the Newspaper Party Committee, and learn from the Party work in 2023. Party members, especially Party members holding leadership and management positions, must uphold the spirit of Party members, strictly carry out the responsibility of setting an example, "self-reflection, self-correction".
Along with that, Party Secretary Hoang Manh Ha said that in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Newspaper will also tighten discipline and order, do a good job of political and ideological education for all Party members in the Party Committee to create changes in the quality and effectiveness of Party activities of the affiliated Party Cells, contributing to the successful completion of political and professional tasks, building the Party Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper to be increasingly clean and strong.
Also at the Conference, the Party Committee of TN&MT Newspaper awarded the 30-year Party membership badge to comrade Van Thanh Bach - Party member of the Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office Party Cell.
TN&MT Newspaper Union: Innovation, quality improvement for the benefit of union members
* On the same morning, TN&MT Newspaper held a conference to review the work of the Trade Union in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. Comrade Duong Trung Thanh, member of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment attended and gave a speech at the conference.
Reporting at the Conference, Mr. Pham Van Khai, Chairman of the TN&MT Newspaper Trade Union, said that as of December 1, 2023, the TN&MT Newspaper Trade Union had 6 affiliated trade union organizations; 96 union members.
In 2023, with the theme of "Consolidating and improving the quality of trade union activities", the Executive Committee of the TN&MT Newspaper's Trade Union closely followed the direction of the Newspaper's Party Committee, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment's Trade Union and the resolution of the Newspaper's Trade Union Congress to implement activities to improve the quality of trade union activities associated with studying and following the example, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh; closely following the functions and tasks of the unit, ensuring the development of a work program, organizing and mobilizing VCNLĐ and union members to actively participate in responding to patriotic emulation movements launched by the superior Trade Union and the unit's agency, strengthening administrative reform, having a sense of responsibility for assigned work, taking care of VCNLĐ's health, contributing to building a strong trade union organization, Party and agency.

At the Conference, Mr. Le Doan Xuan, Vice Chairman of the TN&MT Newspaper Trade Union, reported on the results of the Trade Union Inspection Committee's activities in 2023 and the direction and tasks for 2024; Ms. Pham Thi Quang Minh, Head of the Women's Union of TN&MT Newspaper, reported on the work of the Women's Union in 2023.
Speaking at the Conference, comrade Duong Trung Thanh, Chairman of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Trade Union, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the TN&MT Newspaper Trade Union in 2023.
