Storm Kristine officially formed, when will it enter the East Sea as storm number 6?

Specifically, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Tropical Depression 94W has become the 11th storm of the Philippines, moving into the country's waters on the morning of October 21. PAGASA said the tropical storm is locally named "Kristine". This is the 11th storm of the Philippines in the 2024 storm season.

Typhoon Kristine is 1,050km southeast of Luzon, as of 5am on October 21, with maximum winds of 55km/h near the center with gusts up to 70km/h.

Meteorological experts predict that around October 24, the storm is likely to enter the northern East Sea area.

Meanwhile, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently (October 21), in the North, a cold air mass is moving south.

Around the afternoon of October 22, this cold air mass will affect the mountainous areas of the Northeast, then affect other places in the Northeast, North Central, some places in the Northwest and North Central. The wind inland will strengthen to level 3, coastal areas to level 4-5.

Due to the impact of the strengthening cold air, in the afternoon and night of October 22, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the North and Thanh Hoa. From the night of October 22 to October 23, in the area from Nghe An to Binh Dinh, there will be rain, moderate rain, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. During the thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
