Having directly witnessed the disaster caused by storm No. 3, the staff of Giao thong Newspaper wishes to contribute more to help people overcome difficulties. Especially when traffic in many places is still cut off. Many families, the elderly and children are lacking food, clean water and essential necessities.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Transport, and the Vietnam Journalists Association, on September 12, party members, civil servants, public employees, and employees of Giao Thong Newspaper donated 100 million VND, contributing to sharing and helping people facing difficulties due to rain and floods, and soon stabilizing their lives.
On the same day, Giao Thong Newspaper coordinated with the Vietnam Automobile Transport Association to launch the program "Free transportation of relief goods for people in storm and flood areas"...
The program will accept orders weighing 3 tons or more at points in Hanoi and transport them to areas affected by storms and floods. The owner of the goods is responsible for the quality, origin and source of the goods according to the provisions of law.
