Opening the conference, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh informed about some of the press activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the past year. According to Mr. Le Quoc Minh, 2025 is a year of special significance, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese revolutionary press, the final year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, preparing for the 14th National Congress.
Reporting at the conference on the Press work of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, Mr. Tong Van Thanh - Director of the Press - Publishing Department, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission said that press agencies and television programs focused on reflecting the atmosphere of welcoming the New Year of At Ty 2025 associated with the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the results and achievements of the country's 40 years of implementing the Doi Moi process and 4 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; many touching articles praising the great President Ho Chi Minh; works in the press of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025 expressed the joyful and optimistic atmosphere of the trust of cadres, party members and people in the revolutionary breakthrough policies and decisions of the Party; highlighting the belief, aspiration, will and strength of great solidarity of the Vietnamese people, the position and prestige of our country today...

Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia highly appreciated the achievements that the Vietnam Revolutionary Press has achieved in the past year along with many important events of the country. The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission affirmed that in the recent At Ty Spring, the press agencies have strongly spread and inspired optimism and confidence, a joyful atmosphere creating a spirit of determination in the political system, among cadres, party members and people so that our country can enter a new era, an era of national development. Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia outlined the key tasks of the press in 2025: The press is a tool to promote propaganda on economic, cultural and social tasks; propaganda on the 14th Party Congress, Party congresses at all levels; propaganda on 40 years of the Party's theory on the Party's renewal policy; propaganda more widely and strongly on Resolution 18; propaganda to celebrate major national holidays such as: the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification, the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, in which the press must have a stature to rise in the new period... Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia also suggested that after merging, press agencies with new functions and tasks must have a specific action plan.
