Discussing solutions for implementing industrial clusters along the North-South axis

According to the Department of Industry and Trade, along the North-South axis, 10 industrial clusters are planned, including 1 industrial cluster in Gia Loc district with a scale of 75 hectares and 9 industrial clusters in Ninh Giang district with a total area of 595 hectares.

These industrial clusters have been decided to establish, select investors, and allocate land funds according to the provisions of law. 10 industrial clusters have been updated in the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. Therefore, it is impossible to adjust and convert industrial clusters into industrial parks.

At the meeting, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province agreed to deploy industrial clusters according to the approved planning and decisions. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban requested to urgently remove obstacles related to the deployment, focusing on handling large airspace when the traffic boundary is relatively large.

If the storage area is not suitable for continued cultivation, it is necessary to ensure that the irrigation system meets production requirements. If cultivation is not possible, consider assigning the investor to manage this area. Regarding the construction of the North-South main road, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed that the locality be the investor, while the funding is sponsored by investors in industrial clusters.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Planning and Investment, Transport and the People's Committees of Ninh Giang and Gia Loc districts to continue discussing appropriate solutions. After agreeing on the plan, the Provincial People's Committee will report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and direction.
