On the afternoon of November 22, Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Do Trong Hung announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union - to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and join the Party Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung sent his congratulations to the new Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee. According to Mr. Hung, the Politburo assessed Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh as a cadre with capacity, experience, thinking, scientific, democratic and decisive working methods, and close to the grassroots.
In all her positions, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh has always completed her tasks excellently, making important contributions to the achievements of her agencies and units.
Mr. Le Minh Hung believes and hopes that the new Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee will promote his youth and experience from working in the province and at the central level to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
The Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the Party Executive Committee, leaders at all levels and sectors of Binh Phuoc province to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, sharing, and support Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh in her position as Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee to focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, and continue to develop Binh Phuoc homeland even more strongly in the coming time.

In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, Ton Ngoc Hanh, expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for entrusting him with the important responsibility.
Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh realizes that this is a great honor and also a very heavy responsibility before the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Phuoc province.
Ms. Hanh pledged to always make every effort, be dedicated, be a pioneer, be exemplary, uphold the Party's principles, practice what you preach, promote the role of a nucleus of solidarity, and work together with the collective to successfully implement the set goals and resolutions, contributing to the whole country's successful implementation of the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
At the same time, prepare well for the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, realizing the new viewpoints and thinking that General Secretary To Lam has regularly directed and emphasized.
Previously, on November 20, the Central Foreign Affairs Commission held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided to transfer, assign and appoint Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Manh Cuong (51 years old, from Nghe An) as Deputy Head of the Central External Relations Commission.
The youngest Provincial Party Secretary in the country
Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh was born in 1980, from Binh Duong. Professional qualifications: Master of Political Science (majoring in Party building), Bachelor of Party building and state administration; senior political theory.
Before being appointed as Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Hanh held the following positions: Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Secretary of the Dong Xoai City Party Committee.
On January 30, 2021, Ms. Hanh was elected as an alternate member of the Party Central Committee. In March 2022, Ms. Hanh was elected as Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union.
