There are about 186 thousand apps that Apple removed from the App Store for violating the rules, most of which are in the Games, Utilities, Business and Education categories.
Among them, the Chinese government is at the top of the list of requests to remove applications from the store, with 1,435 applications, with Gaming applications being removed due to not being licensed in the mainland accounting for 1,276.
The report also said that on average, Apple recorded more than 656 million visitors, 747 million app downloads, and more than 373 million searches per week. In addition, 282 million Apple ID accounts were suspended last year.
Regarding applications originating from Vietnam, Apple also removed more than 8,400 applications from developers, of which Games accounted for 4,561 applications, followed by Utilities (800 applications) and Entertainment (726 applications) with the main reasons being design violations (4,657 applications) and fraud (3,626 applications).
During the same period, China and the US were the two countries with the most applications removed from the App Store, with more than 40,000 applications and more than 32,000 applications, respectively.
In particular, "Apple" also said that it has blocked more than 2.09 billion USD in fraudulent transactions on the App Store, and removed more than 147 million fake app reviews in 2022.
