Accordingly, Apple has just added MacBook Pro and Mac mini models using M4 series chips to its certified refurbished stores in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland for the first time since the product was introduced in October 2024.
In addition, some refurbished MacBook Pro models with M4 chip are also available in some European countries such as: Belgium, Germany, Netherlands....
Specifically: Refurbished MacBook M4 is discounted about 15% compared to equivalent new models on Apple's online store.
However, Apple's refurbished inventory changes frequently, and the order button may still be grayed out for some configurations in some countries, so you'll need to check back often if you're eyeing an Apple device. Apple doesn't currently offer refurbished iMac models with the M4 chip.
All the usual accessories are included in the box with refurbished Macs. For the MacBook Pro, these are: a USB-C adapter and a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable. The Mac mini will come with a power cord.
Apple also says it conducts full functionality testing, as well as a thorough cleaning and inspection process for refurbished Macs. They also come with the company’s one-year limited warranty and are eligible for the AppleCare+ extended warranty.
Thus, a refurbished Mac is almost indistinguishable from a new one and users can own it for a more economical amount of money.
