Mr. Le Che Linh volunteers for community life

DTO - Promoting the role of vanguard and volunteer for community life, Mr. Le Che Linh (born in 1998, residing in Hamlet 4, My Tan Commune, Cao Lanh City) - Member of the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) in Cao Lanh City always seeks, learns, and creates new and suitable methods of operation, attracting the attention of young people to the Union; establishing the "Understanding & Loving" volunteer group, bringing love to the less fortunate.

Born and raised in a family with difficult circumstances, he always understood and sympathized with the less fortunate. Since his school days, in addition to his good academic results, Mr. Che Linh enthusiastically participated in the Youth Union - Association movements. He used to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Do Cong Tuong High School, Secretary of the Youth Union of Business Administration University Class 17A - Dong Thap University.

After graduating from university, he worked at a Commercial Bank in Cao Lanh City. In his spare time, he enthusiastically participated in the Youth Union - Association movements in My Tan commune. Currently, he is a member of the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Cao Lanh City for the 2024 - 2029 term. With the enthusiasm of youth, he participates in keeping the environment clean, creating playgrounds for students, developing ideas for establishing volunteer support teams for communes and wards in Cao Lanh City, instructing people to install electronic identification, issuing citizen identification cards, online public services...

Based on the spirit of “Mutual love and support”, in 2016, thanks to the joint efforts of many young people with the same idea, he established a charity class to supplement knowledge for poor students with difficult circumstances. Up to now, the class is still maintained.

Receiving sympathy from many people, in 2017, he mobilized fellow union members in My Tan commune, Cao Lanh City Youth Union to establish the "Understanding & Loving" Volunteer Group. The group has more than 80 members to connect loving hearts, share difficulties with orphans and lonely elderly people in and outside the province.

With funding from benefactors inside and outside Dong Thap province, every month, the "Understanding & Loving" Volunteer Group gives 20 gifts to lonely elderly people and children orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, it sponsors 4 students in difficult circumstances (500,000 VND/gift/month). From 2022 to present, the "Understanding & Loving" Volunteer Group has connected resources to help more than 1,000 cases in difficult circumstances. The estimated amount of money and gifts given is nearly 1.3 billion VND.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025, Mr. Le Che Linh and the "Understanding & Loving" Volunteer Group mobilized to give many gifts to lonely elderly people; gave 10 gifts to students in difficult circumstances; 200 gifts to people in difficult circumstances in My Ngai ward; 10 health insurance packages for lonely elderly people in My Tan commune; 100 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in Tinh Thoi commune... The total cost is over 50 million VND.

Promoting the fine tradition of the nation "Mutual love and support", the spirit of shock and pioneering of the youth, from 2019 - 2024, Mr. Le Che Linh received many noble awards such as: Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Youth Union Committee for outstanding achievements in the "Youth Volunteer" movement; receiving a Certificate of Merit at the National Volunteer Day organized by the National Volunteer Center and the Vietnam Youth Union Committee; Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Dong Thap province praising "Youth living beautifully in Dong Thap province"; The Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Dong Thap province awarded a Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in the work of the Association and the youth movement for the term 2019 - 2024...

According to Mr. Vo Van Cuong - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Cao Lanh City, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Cao Lanh City, Mr. Le Che Linh is an exemplary member with enthusiasm and actively participates in movements launched by the higher-level Youth Union and Association. This is a typical example, creating a spirit of spreading learning and dedication following Uncle Ho's teachings, inspiring many young people in Cao Lanh City - the capital of the Land of Pink Lotus...
