On August 24, more than a thousand students from many provinces and cities were present at the University of Law (Hue University) to complete admission procedures. Understanding the hardships of new students and their parents in difficult circumstances, the Law University Trade Union in collaboration with the 5,000 VND Charity Meal in Hue organized the Union Meal program "Supporting the community - Spreading love".
Hundreds of meals were provided by the Labor Union of the University of Law (Hue University) to support new students in difficult circumstances on the first day of school.
The program cooked more than 300 meals to support and encourage new students and their parents on their first day of school. Also participating in this meal were officials and workers with difficult circumstances working at the University of Law (Hue University).
To prepare for these meaningful meals, school staff and members of the 5,000 VND Charity Meal have planned and prepared early. Fresh, nutritious foods are selected to help diners have a guaranteed meal.
New students and their parents were moved when invited to join the Union Meal "Supporting the community - Spreading love".
Each meal costs about 35,000 VND with a full range of dishes such as chicken, ham, eggs, fish, vegetables, green vegetables... and fruit for dessert. Joining the meal, new students, parents, and disadvantaged workers at the school can eat for free or pay only 5,000 VND/meal to contribute to maintaining the operation of the 5,000 VND Charity Meal.
"The meal is really meaningful for new students like us. A full meal with delicious dishes. Our first stage was very difficult, we are very happy to receive the school's care and support", Trieu Vy, a new student from Da Nang City, emotionally shared.
Along with the rice cooking activity to support new students, on this occasion, the Labor Union of the University of Law (Hue University) presented 5 gifts to officials and workers in difficult circumstances. In particular, 50,000,000 VND was donated to the fund of the 5,000 VND Charity Rice Shop.
The Labor Union of the University of Law (Hue University) gave a gift of 5,000 VND to the Charity Canteen.
Dr. Dao Mong Diep, Chairman of the Labor Union of the University of Law (Hue University) said: "In recent times, through many different forms, the University of Law in general and the University's Labor Union in particular have had many meaningful activities towards the community to spread noble humanistic values, promote the spirit of mutual love, the good leaves cover the torn leaves, the morality of drinking water remembering its source of the Vietnamese people.
With the message "Support the community - Spread love", the Union Meal program organized today hopes to contribute to encouraging and sharing with new students, parents, officials and workers in difficult circumstances. Hopefully, the new students will keep their faith and continue to go to school to sow the seeds of their dreams".

Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Luong, Principal of the University of Law (Hue University) added that the 5,000 VND Charity Meal is a model established by the school in collaboration with volunteer organizations since 2019. This is a very meaningful charity model for the community, especially for people, poor workers, and students in difficult circumstances. Up to now, the meal has served tens of thousands of meals that ensure hygiene and quality at a small price.
Hopefully, in the coming time, with the spread of love from the hearts of the staff and employees of the University of Law (Hue University), the support, assistance and sponsorship of organizations, groups and individuals, the 5,000 VND Charity Meal will continue to maintain, develop and promote its role in serving the community.
