80% of Vietnamese fans are hoping I get fired

Coach Troussier said: "I have been working with the players for a year. I believe we have accumulated enough experience and practice. The most recent tournament, the 2023 Asian Cup, did not achieve the desired goal but still had a harvest. The match against Indonesia at that time had a bad result but also had positive points.

In the second half, my players performed well and I reminded them to keep that in mind. The team is confident now. We will show that in tomorrow's match. It will be a big challenge for Vietnam. But we like challenges."

Sharing about the pressure and criticism from fans in the past time, Coach Troussier said: "Many people are waiting for tomorrow's results to decide my future in the Vietnam National Team. I think many people are looking forward to the day I am replaced. Many people say that my way of working with the Vietnam National Team is not suitable.

The public can be affected by such information. That is the situation that every coach in the world has to face. Maybe many people do not believe me, through the opinions in the press and social networks. But I always try to maintain focus on the job."
