This year, the Academy will enroll 530 students (equal to 2023) to train in the Police professional group.

In which, the enrollment zones are divided as follows:

Region 1, Northern mountainous provinces (10 provinces): Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan , Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La.

Region 2, provinces and cities of the Northern Delta and Midlands (15 provinces and cities): Hanoi , Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh.

Region 3, North Central provinces (06 provinces): Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh , Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.

Northern Region 8, active duty soldiers stationed from Thua Thien Hue province and beyond of units A09, C01, C10, C11, K01, K02.

Students of the Cultural School register for the exam and participate in the selection process with candidates from the area that the local police send to the Cultural School.

People's Police Academy uses 3 admission methods:

• Method 1: Direct admission according to current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
• Method 2: Direct admission combining international language certificates with high school academic results.
• Method 3: Admission combines high school graduation exam results with assessment test results of the Ministry of Public Security.

With the admission method combining the results of the high school graduation exam with the results of the assessment test of the Ministry of Public Security, the People's Police Academy considers candidates with the total score of 3 subjects in the admission group to the police school (accounting for 40%) and the score of the Ministry of Public Security exam (accounting for 60%) converted to a 30-point scale rounded to 2 decimal places plus priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
