This is the sixth batch of students from the school taking the high school graduation exam. In addition to their backpacks and books, their luggage includes clothes, blankets, instant noodles, candy, cakes... to rest and stay up late to study.
Student Nguyen Dang Khoa shared that he did not feel pressured because he had spent a lot of time reviewing his subjects. This morning, because his parents were busy at work, Khoa went to the ferry terminal himself to prepare to go to the accommodation near the exam site.

Before leaving for the mainland, these students were encouraged and accompanied by the Border Guard and teachers. The Border Guard in coordination with other units gave 24 gifts (worth 12 million) and necessities such as: notebooks, pens, fast food...
As in previous years, students taking the exam will travel to the mainland by boat and will be accommodated for 3 days at Binh Khanh Secondary School, Binh Khanh town (Can Gio district).
The school also sent 4 teachers and red phoenix flower soldiers to accompany the students to the exam.
Transportation from accommodation to the testing site will be provided by local authorities and volunteers.

Major Bui Duc Sang, Deputy Political Commissar of Thanh An Border Guard Station, said Thanh An is the only island commune of Ho Chi Minh City, a locality with many difficulties due to its remote location and transportation mainly by waterway.
"As students in an island commune, the travel conditions are difficult, so the students always have to go first and come back later. Therefore, before they left, officers and soldiers came to visit and encourage them, so that they could be calm and confident to do well on the exam," Mr. Sang shared.

Regarding the plan to organize the high school graduation exam in Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City will arrange a separate ferry to transport the exam papers. In the early morning of June 27-28, the priority ferry will transport the high school graduation exam papers from the printing and copying point to the exam site in Can Gio under the protection of the police and authorities.
At the end of the exam day, the exam papers were collected and transported to the center of Ho Chi Minh City under police escort and taken to the exam marking location.
In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City will have 90,062 candidates taking the exam at 162 exam sites, with 3,805 exam rooms. Of these, 87 exam sites have independent candidates (ensuring that at least 60% of the total number of candidates at the exam site are grade 12 high school students according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training), 75 exam sites do not have independent candidates.
