2 foreigners found dead in villa, many used wine bottles

(NLDO) – Staff at a villa complex in Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province discovered two foreigners, one male and one female, dead in two rooms.


On December 30, Quang Nam Provincial Police said they are continuing to investigate the cause of death of two foreigners in a tourist villa in Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province.

Previously, at around 11:18 a.m. on December 26, at Hoa Ch. tourist villa (group 9, Van Lang village, Cam Thanh commune, Hoi An city), villa staff suddenly discovered a woman born in 1991, British nationality, dead in room number 101 and a man born in 1988, South African nationality, dead in room number 201.

Both victims registered for long-term temporary residence at the tourist villa from July 4, 2024.

After receiving the report, Quang Nam Provincial Police directed the police of relevant units and localities to organize a crime scene investigation and autopsy (outside the body) to determine that there were no signs of scratches or external force.

At the scene, the authorities seized a number of used wine bottles. Currently, the Investigation Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police is continuing to investigate and clarify the case.
