On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the day Uncle Ho stated the Six Teachings of the People's Public Security (Public Security) and the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Building the Public Security Force (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2023); towards the 77th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2023) and the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Call for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948 - June 11, 2023), on the morning of March 11, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security organized the opening ceremony of the Olympic Running Day of the units under the Ministry of Public Security and the Sports Festival of the Public Security Force Building Bloc in 2023. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To emphasized that on March 27, 1946, Uncle Ho's call for all people to exercise was published in the National Salvation Newspaper (the predecessor of the Great Unity Newspaper). In response to Uncle Ho's call, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have always paid attention to leading and directing physical training and sports activities in the People's Public Security Forces to improve physical fitness, improve health, strengthen the courage and fighting spirit of officers and soldiers, contributing to the successful implementation of the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, and building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security Force.

Sports and physical training activities in the People's Public Security Forces are always organized in a diverse, rich and practical manner to attract the participation of officers and soldiers in training and competition, while contributing to the spread of the sports and physical training movement to the masses. The sports and physical training movement has become an indispensable need in the lives of officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces. From the sports and physical training movements in the entire force, many coaches and athletes have been discovered and trained to contribute to national sports teams participating in regional, continental and international competitions, achieving many high achievements.

The Olympic Running Day for the health of the people and the Sports Festivals organized in the People's Public Security Forces in recent years have received the response of a large number of officers and soldiers participating. Promoting the achieved results, this year, the Ministry of Public Security continues to organize the Olympic Running Day of the units under the Ministry of Public Security and the Sports Festival for the People's Public Security Forces Building in 2023, with 62 units under the Ministry and the Hanoi City Police with nearly 2,500 officers and soldiers participating.
