Anyone can give first aid
In fact, many people still think that first aid is the job of medical professionals. They themselves never thought they could do this.
Social enterprise Survival Skills was born with the mission of reducing preventable casualties through vivid, visual and practical training methods.
At the celebration, Ms. Trang Jena Nguyen - co-founder of SSVN - aspired: "I wish every family in Vietnam had at least one person who knew first aid. Every day we wake up, we have a new day to share this important knowledge with many people to see that first aid skills are not something to be afraid of."
Despite many challenges, Ms. Trang said she will continue her journey with SSVN because "nothing is more precious than human life".
Over the past 10 years, Survival Skills Social Enterprise has not only organized direct classes, but also developed digital learning solutions such as E-learning platforms and mobile applications.
Aiming to serve the majority, SSVN still focuses on improving safety for the disabled community through first aid materials in the form of sign language libraries, Braille books and audio books.
To date, over 150,000 individuals have accessed SSVN's first aid knowledge resources.

First Aid Hero
As one of the outstanding students of SSVN, Mr. Pham Quoc Viet was inspired and founded the First Aid Support Team - FAS Angle ( Hanoi ). The team has provided first aid to thousands of traffic accident and fire victims every year.
Anh Viet said: "Saving people is not an extraordinary thing, but something everyone should do when faced with a situation. I always tell my students to treat victims as their own relatives and help them."
In another case, Mr. Nghia Pham once provided first aid to help save the lives of two young people in a tragic accident where a container truck crashed into a series of motorbikes just a few days after learning first aid.
"Helping those two victims was a great effort from the teachers at SSVN. If I hadn't learned first aid before, I would still have gone down to save them, but I would definitely have had difficulty knowing what to do in such a situation," said Nghia Pham emotionally.
At this anniversary event, SSVN launched the "First Aid Legal Handbook" compiled from SSVN's initiative, in cooperation with Devinci Pacific Law Firm.
