The Council of Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam 2023 has just announced the list of individuals to be voted. The nominations were selected in 9 fields (the field of State Administrative Management had no nominations). Of which, in the field of Scientific Research - Innovation alone, there were 2 nominees voted by the Council to be Outstanding Young Faces of Vietnam 2023.

Nguyen Duc Cuong (singer Den Vau) - from a young worker at an environmental sanitation company in Quang Ninh, with his love for music, Nguyen Duc Cuong has become a leading rapper in Vietnam and spreads the inspiration to live and contribute to the community with the stage name Den Vau.
Dr. Ngo Quoc Duy - Deputy Head of Head and Neck Surgery Department, K Hospital achieved the first reported achievement in thyroid treatment in Southeast Asia, successfully implementing the technique of robotic thyroidectomy through the oral vestibule in the treatment of thyroid cancer. This is a milestone marking the development of the surgical specialty in general, as well as in the field of thyroid surgery in particular in Vietnam.

The ceremony to honor the Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces of 2023 will take place in Hanoi, scheduled for the evening of March 23.
Regarding the reward, in addition to the certificate of merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; the commemorative medal of the Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award 2023. Along with that, there is a cash reward for outstanding young faces of 50 million VND/person; 20 million VND/person for promising young faces.
The "Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces" award is a noble award of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, to honor typical young people, under 35 years old, with outstanding achievements in many fields.
The award motivates the development of young talents and promotes the emulation movement of studying, training, scientific research, labor, creativity... In addition, it strengthens and develops the Youth Union, Association, and Team organizations and attracts the attention of all levels, sectors and the whole society to the cause of education and nurturing the young generation.
