This year, the authorities have approved many contents related to trade promotion, through which the province's functional units have focused on implementation to provide practical support to local businesses.

Accordingly, in April 2023, the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (under the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Thuan) participated in the Vietnam International Trade Fair - VIETNAM EXPO 2023 in Hanoi. At the same time, it completed the organization of the display of Binh Thuan's typical agricultural products at two large-scale events taking place in the first half of 2023: Conference on implementing the Government's program to implement the Resolution on the development of the North Central and Central Coast regions (in Binh Dinh), Conference to summarize the Socio-economic Development Cooperation Program between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of the South Central Coast (in Khanh Hoa)...

In the first 7 months of this year, the province's functional units have also coordinated with localities to successfully organize 3 fairs to bring Vietnamese goods to rural, mountainous and island areas in Phu Quy, Bac Binh and Ham Tan. According to Mr. Bien Tan Tai - Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Department of Industry and Trade, this is a very practical trade promotion activity. Through the fairs, participating businesses not only have the opportunity to promote and expand their product consumption markets but also grasp the psychology and awareness of consumers about prices, quality and product designs to orient production in line with consumer needs in rural areas.

In the coming time, Binh Thuan Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion will continue to coordinate to participate in the 2023 Southeast Regional Trade Fair in Binh Duong, followed by the Conference on cooperation and connection of supply and demand between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces in 2023, scheduled to take place in the fourth quarter of this year. According to the plan of the trade promotion and export support program, it will also participate in the Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition (Vietnam Foodexpo 2023) in Ho Chi Minh City. Or participate in the Trade Fair in the Central Highlands provinces in 2023 and the Agricultural, Farmers and Rural Trade Festival Fair (organized by the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union) ...

Along with that, the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion will strive to organize and complete the national industrial promotion projects approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as well as complete 6 projects, 2 other expenditure contents under the approved local industrial promotion program in 2023. Including: Project to Support rural industrial establishments in Binh Thuan to participate in fairs and exhibitions; Project to Learn from experiences in industrial promotion, industrial management and industrial clusters. In addition, the project to organize participation in booths to display, introduce and promote typical rural industrial products of Binh Thuan at fairs and exhibitions in the Southern region and the Central Highlands - Central region will be implemented, and the project to train and improve management capacity for industrial establishments in Binh Thuan will be completed.

With the plan to develop and expand the dragon fruit market, the organization will advise on the completion of all contents related to the consumption of Binh Thuan dragon fruit products domestically and internationally in 2023. Such as creating a clip to promote Binh Thuan dragon fruit, printing publications to promote products processed from dragon fruit, requesting permission to organize a trade delegation and participate in the Shanghai - China International Import Fair 2023 to develop the official market for dragon fruit...
