-   According to information from Lang Son Electricity Company, from the afternoon of September 6 to the afternoon of September 7, strong gusts of wind caused by storm No. 3 caused some trees to fall on the power grid system in some districts and cities, affecting operations and power supply to customers.

Specifically, as of the morning of September 7, the total number of passengers   Power outages in the province affected 63,913 customers.

Power units under Lang Son Power Company quickly deployed solutions to handle the incidents, and by the afternoon of September 7,   restored power to 50,517 customers.

In other cases, Lang Son electricity officials are continuing to handle the situation to quickly restore power.

According to the leader of Lang Son Power Company, implementing Official Dispatch No. 131/CD-EVNNPC dated September 3, 2024 of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) on proactively responding to storm No. 3 ( YAGI ), from now until storm No. 3 dissipates, Lang Son Power Company has been directing all forces of the company to inspect the operation of the power grid and synchronously implement plans to be ready to respond to the situation of storm No. 3.

At the same time, direct the subordinate power companies to monitor the forecast bulletins, warnings of natural disasters and weather in the area, organize on-duty forces, prepare adequate human resources, materials and means to be ready to handle incidents when they occur, implement the "4 on-site" motto to promptly overcome and quickly handle electrical incidents, thereby ensuring stable power supply for electricity customers in the province.

Since September 6, not only have the units of Lang Son Power Company been on duty to quickly handle electrical incidents, they have also regularly reviewed and inspected transformer stations and pole locations on power lines at high risk of landslides, promptly developed plans to immediately handle defects that could cause incidents and unsafety to ensure stable power supply during times of rain and storms.

According to the leader of Lang Son Electricity Company, this is a time when incidents on the power grid are very likely to occur, not only causing power supply interruptions but also potentially posing a risk of insecurity and danger to people's lives. Therefore, to ensure the highest safety for people, Lang Son Electricity Company recommends that people stay away from dangerous areas such as power lines and power stations when there are storms, rain, strong winds, and flooding; people need to immediately cut off the power source of their home when there is a risk of flooding due to waterlogging or flooding; do not touch any electrical equipment or appliances with wet hands or walk barefoot on wet floors; do not arbitrarily repair outdoor electrical lines or equipment;...
