Accordingly, since the beginning of the 13th term, the Central Internal Affairs Committee has consulted on the preliminary and final review, and has developed and submitted to the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Anti-Negative Practices (Steering Committee) and the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform more than 20 projects and over 300 important reports, including many new and difficult issues.
The Central Internal Affairs Commission has performed well its duties as the standing agency of the Steering Committee, contributing to continuing to promote and create new breakthroughs in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity. In particular, it has closely coordinated with competent agencies to advise and direct the removal of difficulties and obstacles, promptly and strictly handling many particularly serious and complicated corruption and negativity cases and incidents in accordance with the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, "no forbidden zones, no exceptions"...
Emphasizing that there is only a little over a year left until the end of the Party's 13th term, Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong requested the Central Internal Affairs Commission to make greater efforts and determination to successfully carry out tasks related to internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, negativity and judicial reform.
In particular, the Committee continues to do a good job of advising on the fight against corruption and negativity, in conjunction with the effective implementation of Regulation 144 of the Politburo on ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period; advising on the final handling of corruption and negativity cases and incidents related to cadres and party members, serving the personnel work of Party Congresses at all levels, strictly implementing the direction of the General Secretary: "Absolutely do not let into the leadership those who have made mistakes, are involved in corruption, negativity, cover up crimes, and negatively affect the prestige of the Party".
The Standing Secretariat requested the Central Internal Affairs Commission to urgently complete the Projects submitted to the Politburo and the Secretariat according to plan. At the same time, it should pay attention to researching and proposing major policies, viewpoints and orientations on internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption, negativity and judicial reform to serve the development of draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress.
