On April 1, Tan Binh District Police (HCMC) are investigating a pickup truck accident on Hoang Bat Dat Street (Ward 15), leaving two people seriously injured.

According to initial information, at more than 3 p.m. the same day, a group of people stopped their motorbikes at a red light on Hoang Bat Dat Street (Ward 15, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) at the intersection with Nguyen Phuc Chu Street.
At this time, a pickup truck (license plate: 51D - 728.xx) traveling on Hoang Bat Dat Street (from Tran Thi Trong Street to Nguyen Phuc Chu Street) crashed from behind, knocking away 2 motorbikes.
The incident caused two men on two motorbikes to be thrown onto the road, lying motionless and having to be hospitalized with serious injuries. At the scene, two motorbikes were damaged, many parts were broken and the goods on the motorbikes were scattered everywhere.
From the home security camera, it shows that the pickup truck hit from behind quite hard, causing one of the two motorbikes to fly dozens of meters away.
The damaged motorbike in the accident was taken away by a specialized vehicle.
Upon receiving the report, Tan Binh District Police arrived at the scene to handle the incident. The pickup truck driver was then tested for alcohol on the spot by the Traffic Police and taken to the police station for questioning. In the evening of the same day, the related vehicles were removed from the scene.
