Bus catches fire at gas station in Hanoi

On the evening of July 4, information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Dong Anh District Police (PCCC&CNCH, Hanoi City Police) said that the unit had just successfully extinguished a bus fire at gas station No. 41, gate A of Thang Long Industrial Park (Dong Anh, Hanoi).

Accordingly, at 10:25 p.m. the same day, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Dong Anh District Police received a report of a fire at the above address. The unit mobilized officers, soldiers and vehicles to coordinate with the Fire Fighting Team of Area 3 (Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police) to the scene to put out the fire.

At the scene, the bus parked next to the gas station caught fire fiercely with many explosions. Black smoke from the fire rose dozens of meters high. The Fire Police force quickly deployed a team to put out the fire and prevent it from spreading to the surrounding area.

At 10:38 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished, and authorities continued to extinguish the embers and pump water to cool it.

According to initial statistics, the fire did not cause any human damage. However, the entire interior of the bus was burned down. The fire also affected a gas pump.

The cause of the incident is currently being investigated and clarified by Dong Anh District Police.
