At the monitoring session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu requested functional units of localities to strengthen propaganda and mobilization, especially to do a good job of mass mobilization in receiving and resolving complaints, denunciations and recommendations of citizens.

Localities need to step up the implementation of the Project “Building friendly, people-serving commune, ward and town governments in Hai Duong province in the period of 2024-2030”. Local authorities need to perform well the functions of serving, guiding, mobilizing and persuading people to do better in handling complaints and denunciations.

Chairman of Gia Loc District People's Committee Vu Van Cap informed about the situation of handling complaints, denunciations and petitions of citizens in the district in the first 9 months of 2024.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Van Hieu noted that the People's Committee of Tu Ky district must receive and process petitions promptly, not letting cases drag on. The process of handling cases must clearly explain the provisions of the law to the people. Issuing land use right certificates according to people's petitions must ensure compliance with the provisions and procedures of the law...

Thanh Mien district urgently resolves petitions from citizens of Tu Cuong and Tan Trao communes; strictly handles cases of intentional violations. Gia Loc district closely reviews the files of citizens who make complaints and promptly responds in writing to citizens. Do not let small cases become complicated and prolonged.

Thanh Mien district is currently handling two long-standing citizen complaints. Tu Ky district still has a number of long-standing petitions, mainly related to determining land origin, granting land use right certificates and policies for beneficiaries. Gia Loc district still has two long-standing pending cases.

On September 26 and 27, the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial People's Council completed the supervision of 5 units under supervision this time, namely the People's Committees of Cam Giang, Binh Giang, Tu Ky, Thanh Mien and Gia Loc districts.
