
During the past term, the Binh An Commune Front focused on implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". Accordingly, 1,327 households were mobilized to contribute more than 106 million VND, together with the State, to build 3,300m of flag roads and "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" roads in 7/7 residential areas.
The Commune Front mobilized more than 530 million VND into the Fund for the Poor, along with the allocation of the higher-level Front, to support the renovation and repair of 20 solidarity houses, provide emergency relief to 235 cases, and give more than 2,600 gifts.
In addition, coordinating with associations and organizations to help 22 households escape poverty sustainably, contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the commune to 2.75%, down 0.5% compared to the beginning of the term.
The Congress elected 39 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh An Commune, term XII. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong was re-elected as Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune.
* Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Nam commune (Thang Binh) held the 10th Congress of the Fatherland Front of the commune (term 2024 - 2029) with 85 delegates attending.
In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Binh Nam Commune Front and its member organizations supported 46 breeding pigs, breeding cows, and means of livelihood for poor households and disadvantaged women members; thereby helping 15 households escape poverty sustainably. The Commune Front mobilized support to renovate and repair 33 solidarity houses with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND.
The Front and its member organizations have also effectively implemented many models such as: "Lighting up the countryside roads", "Residential areas do not scatter votive papers during funerals", "Self-management of security and order", "Residential areas protecting the environment associated with building model new rural residential areas"...
The Congress elected 37 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Nam commune for the 2024-2029 term.
